Join us for Kick Abuse 5K Trail Run and Fun Walk!

This cross-country style 5K will take place at the beautiful Donovan Park in Peoria, Illinois.  We will offer a timed 5K for runners, a fun 1-mile walk, and kids' run for the little ones!  100% of proceeds remain right here in Central Illinois and help provide child-friendly medical and social services for children when there is a concern for possible abuse or neglect.

  1. Kick Abuse 5K Run

    Welcome back to the 11th Annual Kick Abuse 5K Race to benefit the Pediatric Resource Center! We are thrilled to announce that our event will be back in person this year. Even more exciting, we have a new venue and course for our runners to help raise money and promote our cause. We will be hosting our Kick Abuse 5K run at the beautiful Donovan Park in Peoria, Illinois. The challenges the past three years have been hard. Unfortunately, child abuse and neglect never left the scene. This race is your opportunity to help ensure children have access to the specialized medical services they so desperately need. We kindly ask you to join the Pediatric Resource Center’s mission to provide outstanding child-centered care to abused and neglected children through your sponsorship of our Annual Kick Abuse 5K Run/Walk. On behalf of our board of directors, our staff and most importantly, a child in need, thank you for your consideration in sponsoring our race.
