Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 St. B's Parents Association is excited to host it's 11th Annual One Mile Fun Run and Tot Trot! We are also excited to bring back the Adult 1 Mile Race and this year we invite St Bs Alumni to join in the race too!   

Calling all St Benedict's students preschool through 8th grade - come join the fun! Preschoolers run the 100 yard Tot Trot. K-8th students run the 1 Mile Student Race. Siblings of St Bs students are also welcome to register and run!  *(Parents who need to escort young runners on the 1 mile course must register for the race. See Registration Information below)

Hey parents, teachers/staff and alumni who love to run too - Join the fun and register for the Adult and Alumni 1 Mile Race.  You'll get a t-shirt and medal and be cheered on by the student runners! The races are followed by raffle prizes, a dance party, post-race snacks and awards for our top 3 finishers in each grade. It's a lot of fun and a great community event that we look forward to every year!


Students and Siblings: Race is open to all St. B’s students and their siblings (preschool-8th grade). Preschoolers will run the Tot Trot and K-8th graders will run the 1 Mile Fun Run.  Students and siblings  Register as PARTICIPANT

Parents wanting to escort their little ones on the One Mile course must Register to run as PARTICIPANT: 1 Mile and Tot Trot, in order to receive a race bib and be allowed on the racecourse. Parents are discouraged from running the 1 mile with students if their child does not need assistance on the course. Instead, parents are encouraged to run in the ADULTS & ALUMNI 1 Mile Race!  **(Parents who plan to run both races should register for the Adult & Alumni Race in order to receive a chipped bib)

★ The 2nd annual ADULT & ALUMNI 1 MILE RACE is timed and is open to all parents, teachers/staff and St Bs Alumni.  This race will take place immediately after the student race.  To register, please choose ADULT & ALUMNI RACE to ensure that you will receive a chipped race bib on race day.  Parents who register for the student race will not receive a chipped bib and will not be timed. **(Childcare will be provided on the preschool playground during the Adult Race)

Registration opens Sept 5th! Register by September 23rd to guarantee t-shirt size.  After 9/23, shirt size availability is not guaranteed. Online registration is $20 plus a small transaction fee. Want an awesome tie-dye t-shirt but don't want to run or can't make the race?  Register online for a T-Shirt Only (parents too!).  T-shirt drop off will happen on Wednesday October 19th so that students can wear their Fun Run t-shirt to school on Friday, October 21st. Online registration closes on October 16th at midnight.  After that time, anyone wanting to participate must register on race day for $25.  T-shirt availability cannot be guaranteed on race day.

T-SHIRT All registrants receive a cool tie dye race t-shirt that can be worn to school the Friday before race day and on spirit days throughout the year!  Can't participate on race day, but still want the awesome shirt? No problem!  There's an option for that too.

RACE COURSE The race will take place on the campus and streets surrounding the school with police officers and volunteers permitted on the course to monitor for safety. See the course map for a visual. 

FUN STUFF Official race medals and miscellaneous other prizes will be awarded to all participants!  Certificates for top three male and top three female One Mile finishers in each grade will be given at awards ceremony. 

VOLUNTEERS Needed!!  Parents, grandparents, friends, Alumni and high school siblings: Click HERE to volunteer!  We cannot pull this off without the help of nearly 80 volunteers.  Come support our school and be a part of the fun! 

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:  7:30-8:30AM Bib Pickup and Day of Race Registrations   9:00AM Races Start: Tot Trot, followed by Student 1 Mile, then Adult & Alumni 1 Mile   10:15AM Awards

* You can Fun Run AND make it to Saturday sports!! Student race should finish around 9:30, so if you need to leave right after, please park at Oakdale Park, Children’s Network or Vinings Bank lots to avoid road closures. 

** Additional Race Day information will be sent home with t-shirts on Wednesday October 19th
