The Lake Wobegon Trails CARAMEL ROLL RIDE!

This is our annual “Beginning of Summer” ride on the trail. Choose to go east to Avon, Collegeville or St Joseph, west to Freeport, and of course, north to Holdingford and the covered bridge, then on the Soo Line Trail to Bowlus and Blanchard Dam on the Mississippi River. As always, the best caramel rolls you can find anywhere will be available at all the rest stops along the way. This is a "rain or shine" event with no refunds.

Ride starts at 400 Railroad Ave, Albany MN.  Check in and event day registrations begin at 8am.  Riders can choose to ride in any direction.   West to Freeport (12 miles round trip(MRT)), East to Avon (12 MRT) and St Joseph (32 MRT).  North to Holdingford (20 MRT), Bowlus (34 MRT), Blanchard Dam (40 MRT) on Mississippi River and Hiway 10 (46 MRT).  Ride is out and back with no shuttle service.  Distances round trip range from 12 miles to 46 miles from Albany.

You can pre-order T-Shirts with your ride registration.  We will have a very limited supply of T-shirts available on day of the event.  We will have some other t-shirts available but also in limited supply.

Rest Stops located in each trail ommunity will provide fruit, juice, water and CARAMEL ROLLS!!! Caramel Rolls are different at each rest stop.  They average 360 calories each and you burn about 360+ riding to each community!  So that means you can have one at each rest stop!

Helmets are required for All RIDERS regardless of age!  Facemasks are suggested at all rest stops when getting refreshments as a Covid precaution. We ask riders to follow state and CDC guidelines.

Check our our website at  You will find more information about the trrails and communities and businesses along the trail.
