Carrabassett Fat Tire Race

The Carrabassett Fat Tire Race will be held at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center on Sunday, February 12, 2023. The final course layout(s) will be dictated by snow conditions and temperatures, which are ever-changing in New England! Our intention is to provide a high-quality course that will lead to a fun and positive race experience.

RACE START TIMES

The Carrabassett Fat Tire Race will begin at 10am. There will first be a mass start for the long course racers, followed by a mass start for the short course racers at 10:10am. We will provide an update with specific start times for each category as we get closer to race day.

TIMING RESULTS

Live timing results will be posted online and we will share this info as we get closer to race day.

More Info

If conditions are too soft to host the event, we will postpone to a later date.  If we have the unfortunate situation where we are forced to cancel the second date we will give all riders that opportunity to: push their reservation forward to another year, donate it to our grooming fund, or request a refund.

If you like our race, bike trails, or the greater Carrabassett Valley region, please consider getting involved by volunteering or joining one of the area's non-profits; working hard to create sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities in the Carrabassett Region.
