2023 Michigan Gravel Race Series

The Michigan Gravel Race Series is a points series composed of 17 uniquely different gravel centric events. Riders may choose to challenge themselves in the Mini, Short, Long or Ultra course series in several categories from youth, open, women, fatbike, singlespeed and tandem. Racers registered for the series will accumulate points at events throughout the season.

Please note that you must register for the series PRIOR to the first event you want scored, and registering after a qualifying event will not be eligible for points! This registration is specifically to be counted for the points series and you will need to register for each individual qualifying event in the proper distance per your category. At series end the top riders in each category will be awarded one-of-a-kind trophies and swag. To compete for the coveted gravel trophies and overall podiums a rider must be registered in an age group category. Riders outside the top overall spots, as well as categories, will be eligible for age-group/category medals which will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group and category.

Singlespeed: you must compete on a singlespeed bike at each qualifying event. 10 riders required by first event to create this category. If there are less than 10 riders registered by the first event we reserve the right to combine this category with Age Groups.

Fatbike: you must ride tires with a minimum size of 3.7". 10 riders required by first event to create this category. If there are less than 10 riders registered by the first event we reserve the right to combine this category with Age Groups.

Tandem: you must each individually register and be sure to have the same team name. 5 Tandem teams (10 riders) required by first event to create this category.

Train Out Pain Chiropractic Mini Course Series!: New for 2023 we have the Mini Course Series! This series consists of the shortest distance at 10 select events ranging from 10 to 24 miles. The Mini Series will feature FREE Youth 17 and Under registration. 

New events in 2023!: We've added two great events to our 2023 roster; Cedar Blitz and Fast Fitty. These two events have been out there a few years now and we're happy to have them join the MGRS. 

Extra events included in Long Course Series!: New for 2023 we've added the 100 mile Coast Loop and the Moran 66 mile races to the Long Course series which give the Long Course racers a staggering 17 events to choose from!!
