2023 SAGEBRUSH SAFARI XC MTB/E-MTB

SAGEBRUSH SAFARI is back for the 5th year under Quick n' Dirty.  The 2023 Cross Country course will be roughly 31 Miles with tons of fun singletrack! This folks is true cross country course. For the true beginners, youth, and E-MTB'ers we are also offering a 20 mile course. AND...for you Gravel-heads, we will have a gravel route setup for you that comes in at roughly 36 miles.

The Sagebrush Safari XC MTB/E-MTB/GRAVEL courses are on multi-use trails and public roads. This means that you may encounter off-road vehicles and dirtbikes, as well as vehicles on the paved roads. We will do our best to limit the traffic on the trails and roads, but we cannot forcibly stop people from using them. Please ride with caution and be courteous if you encounter any on or off-road traffic.

• We are planning on having a Blazing Saddles FRIDAY NIGHT FUN RACE that is To Be Determined. We are meeting in back alleys behind closed doors to come up with some two-wheeled shenanigans, so stay tuned!
  • Sprint style race
  • Small Cash Purse and Sponsor Swag
  • Minimal Categories (Small entry fee)
  • We will open a separate registration page once the details are finalized.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

• 7:30-8:50 - Check-in and On-site registration (Please arrive on time)
• 9:10 - 36 Mile Gravel racers will all start together
• 9:20 - 20 Mile E-MTB Racers will all start together
• 9:30 - 31 and 20 Mile XC MTB Racers will be released in 1 minute increments by category
• 9:45 - Kids Race
• Podium presentations will be conducted accordingly as racers finish

WHERE:

• 28880 Corral Canyon Trail, Campo, CA 91906 is the nearest physical address. GOOGLE MAPS
  • This address will take you further up Corral Canyon Trail but will take you right by the venue. If you are using GPS to get there don't go all the way to the address, make sure you stop where the fun is. Don’t go past the Navy’s Camp Morena facility, it will be on the right, across the street from the venue.

CAMPING INFO:

• Camping fees will be by donation only. So if you can spare a few bucks to help cover some of the costs, that would be appreciated.
• Boondocking (Dry Camping) will be available Friday Evening-Sunday Afternoon.
• NO INDIVIDUAL CAMPFIRES (Forest Service approved fire rings will be placed in pre-determined locations within the camping area)
• If you pack it in PLEASE pack it out. We ask that you do your part to respect the area and keep your area clean and trash free
