30th Annual Independent Living 5K Run & Roll

To celebrate being able to host our 5K again and celebrate our 30^th year having the 5K, we a having this years race be a FUN RUN.  Adult registration is $25 and a Child Registration is $10 (must be 11 years old or younger). Because this is a Fun Run, there will not be medals awarded. However, we will have prize drawings following the race. We have GRAND PRIZE DRAWINGS of a Samsung Chromebook and two $50 Gift Cards for paid Adult race participants who are present during the drawing and a separate drawing for paid Child registrants. As we have done in the past, everyone present at the end of the race, whether they competed or cheered the racers on, will be eligible to participate in the other prize drawings but you must be present to win. All paid participants will get a 5K T-Shirt.

The race starts at the Jordan River Trailhead Park (1021 W  2320 S), goes up the east side of the river then proceeds around the wetlands on the west side back to the Park.  Day of race registration begins at 8:30 am and the race begins at 9:30 am.  Scholarship are available for racers with a disability. This race is a benefit for the Utah Independent Living Center, a non-residential, not-for-profit agency which assists persons of all ages and disabilities increase their independence at home and in the community.
