B3 is returning to the Lost River, WV and the Lost River Barn on Saturday, June 10. Registration is available for three rides, Rattlesnake, Bobcat and Hawk, with the option of adding barn or camping accommodations with meals for the weekend.

B3 isn't a race, but you can expect a challenging ride featuring a number of long gravel sections and steep ridge climbs. The beauty of the remote landscape means very little cell phone coverage, but also very few cars. More than anything, B3 is about bringing together a community of likeminded cyclists and friends new and old to enjoy in the camaraderie that comes with spending a weekend in the mountains riding bikes together.

VENUE

Lost River Barn, 9580 Howards Lick Rd, Mathias, WV 26812 (Google Maps)

All rides start and finish at the Lost River Barn. Parking is available for riders and others not staying at the venue.

The Lost River Barn and Raw Talent Ranch were founded by the late Jay Moglia, who over the past two decades welcomed an entire generation of mid-Atlantic cyclists to his retreat - also known as "the barn" - to train and take in the aura of the mountains. Jay's vision and efforts fueled the dreams of countless cyclists.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

While ride leaders and SAG will be on hand and we'll do our very best to accommodate everyone, you should be prepared to navigate the route on your own if necessary. Your bicycle should be in good mechanical condition and you should have the necessary items and the ability to repair a flat, have fully changed electronics and a smartphone (with Google offline maps downloaded) to ensure you're able to make your way back to the start if you get separated from the group.
