Blue Hope Colon Cancer Awareness 5K

We Stand Together, Inc. and Primary Medical Care Center is excited to invite you to the 3rd Annual Blue Hope Colon Cancer Awareness 5K!

The funds raised from this event will benefit two of our programs, The Natalie Marc Surpris Scholarship Fund which is awarded to college students whose parent/legal guardian is battling cancer or has passed away due to cancer, and the We Stand Together Financial Assistance Program, which provides emergency funds for living expenses to cancer patients in active treatment.

We hope you will join us as we come together to encourage, uplift, and support those in our community impacted by cancer. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to join us. Whether you form and run with a team or join individually, we thank you for taking a STAND with us in the fight for a GREAT cause!

EVENT DETAILS

Event shirts are included in the registration fee. The DEADLINE to register and receive a free t-shirt is February 27th. Any participants registered after this date will not be guaranteed to receive a shirt. We encourage all participants to pick up their packet prior to race day, on the designated pick-up date. 

Race Packet Pick-up

T-shirts may be picked up at Primary Medical Care Center, 3000 SW 148th Ave, Miramar, FL 33027

T-shirt pickup will take place on the following dates and times:

Thursday, March 9th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Friday, March 10th from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Race Day Schedule:

6:30 a.m. - Registration and Packet Pick-up

7:00 a.m. - Opening Ceremony hosted by NBC 6 Morning News Anchor - Constance Jones, Race warm-up session with a fitness instructor and DJ

7:30 a.m. - 5K Race begins (Timed Race option is Available)

9:30 a.m. - Closing/Award Ceremony and presentation of the Natalie Marc Surpris Scholarship Fund

There will be a children's corner with entertainment, food/health vendors, and more.
