BOO BASH DASH IS BACK!

Don't miss your opportunity to participate in one of Springfield, TN's favorite 5K and 1 mile Fun Run!

When:    Saturday, October 29, 2022

              9:00 a.m. 5K race start time

              9:10 a.m. Fun Run/Walk start time

              8-8:30 a.m. check in and in person registrations

Where:   Robertson County Fair Grounds (NEW LOCATION!!)

              4635 US Hwy 41

              Springfield, TN 37172

Cost:     $30 5K Early-bird registration fee through September 15, 2022

              $40 5K September 16 - October 29, 2022

              $15 Fun Run registration fee

Come and enjoy the fall foliage as you run a portion of the Springfield Greenway, along beautiful Sulphur Creek. 

The 5K race begins at the ballfields in the back of the park and runs along the Greenway until the 2.5K turn around mark. This is  a paved course with only minor elevation - perfect for experienced and beginning runners alike! 

Water will be available at the start/finish area at the pavilion as well as the half-point turnaround.  

The 5K will be timed by our friends at A Matter of Timing using chipped bibs.  The Fun Run/Walk will not be timed. 

Parking will be available at the back of the park near the ballfields, in front of the pavilion. 

COSTUME CONTEST!!!!

It's Halloween after all!  Everyone wearing a costume will be entered in our costume contest. Prizes given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Bring your friends, bring your kids, bring your dog and have a little fun while exploring one of the most beautiful walking areas in Robertson County. 

MEDALS:

Everyone who crosses the finish line for either the 5K or the Fun Run will receive a unique medal. 

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be awarded to:

          Female and Male 14 and under

          Female and Male 15-19 years old

          Female and Male 20-30 years old

          Female and Male 31-44 years old

          Female and Male 45-55 years old

          Female and Male 56 and older

T-Shirts:

T-shirts are only guaranteed for those registered by October 15th. We cannot provide shirts for walk-up registrants. To ensure an event shirt, you must register by October 15th. 

Early Check-in:

We will have an early check-in point on Friday night, October 28th.  Please stay tuned for location and time of this event.

Event Cancellation/Refund Policy:

This is a rain or shine event. Your safety and well-being are our priority. We will cancel or delay the event for inclement/hazardous weather conditions. Inclement weather includes: thunderstorms/lightning, tornado warning or watch, heavy snow, ice on the path, or other extreme weather condition. Rain and light snow are not considered hazardous conditions. 

In the event we must cancel or delay, we will communicate via the email address provided in your registration. We will also post updates to our facebook page (@CASAofRobertson) and Instagram page (robcocasa). 

We have a strict NO REFUND policy. This includes cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, as the funds have already been spent in preparation for race day. If the event is cancelled, or you must cancel your registration, please consider your registration fee as a donation to a 501(c)3 organization. You will still receive your shirtl, and we will work with you to arrange pick up of those items.
