It's time to take on the challenge again---the third year of the Parkway challenge is coming up on April 1, 2023 at 7:30a! The UPDATED route starts at Veterans Freedom Park on Harrison Ave. and you run Cary Parkway to Holly Springs road and then finish at Pinnacle Nutrition—which should get you the half marathon distance!  Parking is limited at the start line and I highly recommend that you try to get dropped off--ALL transportation to and from anywhere on the route is your responsibility!  Also, this is NOT a timed event, hence not a race, but an endurance challenge for the entire length of Cary Parkway!  You may choose to make a team and break it up however you would like, but transportation and planned stops are up to your team.

We will have several water stops available along the route and this year the finish line is at Pinnacle Nutrition for the after party!!

The challenge will have a small fee and the option to purchase a t-shirt (available to order until 3/3) to commemorate your accomplishment!! I've also added an option to support the local organization, Spirit League of NC.  https://www.spiritleague.online/  A wonderful program giving athletes with disabilities and special needs the opportunity to socialize, work on teamwork, and make new friends while enjoying the game of basketball!

As this is a challenge (not sanctioned race), I must include the disclaimer that you will be participating at your own risk. The expectations are you will be responsible for preparing your body for this challenge and following all laws while on the route for your safety and well-being. The CRC is not liable for injuries and/or accidents that could occur, we will be on a main road with traffic and all runners and volunteers should be mindful of their surroundings.
