Register now for our first Charlie Polizzi's Warrior of the Angels Run for CDH virtual 5k/10k. This event can be done anywhere! Complete your run between July 29th and July 31st to help bring awareness to CDH and support research efforts to improve the future of all those impacted by this birth defect.

CDH is a birth defect known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and it is a hole in the diaphragm that allows the abdominal organs like the stomach or liver to move into the chest and put pressure and constrict the heart and lungs. 1,600 babies are born with CDH in the US every year with an average survival of about 50%.

Our goal is to help bring awareness to Charlie Polizzi's Warrior of the Angels' (CPWOA) mission of aiming to create awareness for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia(CDH) and infant loss by establishing and managing programs that further research allowing for improved CDH survival rates and quality of life, as well as improved emotional stability for families following the loss of an infant child through our Soothing Hearts Program in partnership with Albany Medical Center. Help us by participating in our virtual run/walk that can you do from anywhere!

All funds raised for this event go directly to support CPWOA Mission Fund.

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN
-Register 
-Complete a 5k or 10k at your own pace between July 29-31 2022
-Be sure to submit your time via this website

FAMILY FUN DAY: 
-Celebrate the closing of our first run with a fun day of activities being held at Siena College
-Candle Making and a Paint and Sip are included along with music and games
-Enjoy some great food. (additional cost)
