Join us for the fourth annual Crystal Coast Indoor Triathlon! This is an indoor triathlon at The "GYM" Cape Carteret Aquatic & Wellness. This triathlon is for fun - every participant is a winner! The Triathlon consists of a 20-minute swim in our indoor pool, followed by a 20-minute indoor cycle class, and finally a 20-minute run on our Cybex Treadmills. This can be a great first multi-sport event for a beginner looking to step into the world of triathlons. For the established Triathlete, it could make a perfect brick workout in your training.
If you need more... try the NEW Iron Wave 50-minute swim, 50-minute cycle, followed by a 50-minute run starting in the pool at 10:30am. During this Iron Wave laps will be counted and mileage will be recorded. Athletes must win 2/3 or 3/3 events to earn the first place medal. There can be only one winner of the IRON WAVE!
This event will take place on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 with the first wave starting at 8:00 am. Each wave will only contain 8 participants, two athletes per lane. Participants will be able to enter a wave of their choosing during registration.
