Just Off The Coast Of Hilton Head, SC Lies A Unique Place, Daufuskie Island. Experience This Island By Running The Beautiful Shore Lines And Witnessing The Breath Taking Views.
Runners will experience the ultimate racecation starting from their departure on the Daufuskie Island Ferry heading to the main area at Haig Point, the central area of this incredible race. There runners will be greeted with a morning cup of joe sponsored by PERC coffee, entertainment and restrooms to get you ready to run. After your race, a catered picnic lunch and an assortment of beverages await you…including a cool beer provided you’re of legal drinking age. Additionally, each runner will receive a swag bag filled of must have items and a finishing medal to commemorate your accomplishment, which you can have engraved with your finishing time at the Haig Point’s area after party. The after party will have live entertainment for the runners and their family and friends so bring them along too. Turn this into a family weekend by renting a place and spending some time enjoying the beauty of this island and running a great race!

    Haig Point presents Fleet Feet Daufuskie Island Ultra Marathon The course is USATF certified for 13.1 and 26.2 making it a qualifier for other marathons nation-wide. The course follows many of the highlights of Daufuskie Island such as Haig Point Lighthouse, Freeport, Daufuskie Marsh Tacky Society, Tabby Circle overlooking the Atlantic and, the famous "Painted Houses" off Driftwood Cottage lane. Consider making this a weekend getaway runcation so that you may have time to explore this lovely, rustic island. Food and refreshments are provided free for all registered runners on race day. Food and beverage is also available to spectators for a small fee. Finisher medals to each finisher. Race swag will be announced The beneficiary of 2023 race will be the Daufuskie Island Conservancy.
