Day of Race Registration is $65 for adults and $35 for juniors. Day of registration ends 30 minutes before that class starts (Cat 3 - 9:30am, Cat 2 -11am, Cat 1- 1pm, Short Track - 3pm)

DCXC participants are eligible for rankings and qualification for the 2023 USA Cycling XC MTB Nationals.

Licensing Requirements: Eligibility USA Cycling: Men and Women must have a current USA Cycling license.

NOTE ON RACING AGE: Your racing age is your age as of December 31, 2023.

Beginner/Sport One-Days One-Day licenses for Cat 2 and Cat 3 categories are $15, and may be purchased on USA Cycling’s website, or on-site at the event.

Experienced One-Days If your categories prohibit you from entering a race with a beginner one-day license (cat 1 mountain bike and anything but cat 5 for road, track and cyclo-cross), you can purchase the experienced one-day license for $35. The experienced one-day license is only available online at the same link listed above.

*** NO LICENSE NEEDED FOR SHORT TRACK RACE***

Lost Riders: If you miss a turn and cut the course you will be disqualified. Riders are responsible for knowing the course. Check with race promoters about course maps and descriptions.

DNFs: If you have to quit a race for any reason, please let the scoring crew know so we don't go searching the course for you. If you are in the 10am race and are lapped by any rider from the the 11am race, you will be pulled from race and considered a DNF. If you are in the 11am race and are lapped by any rider from the the 1:30pm race, you will be pulled from race and considered a DNF.

Class Sizes: Promoter has the right to combine classes if not enough racers show up.

Mechanical Issues: You must start and finish on the same bike.

Please be respectful of our crew, volunteers, and other racers. Inappropriate behavior on or off the bike may result in disqualification by a race official.

Parking and staging will be held at Button Farm 16820 Black Rock Rd, Germantown, Maryland.

DCXC may require Montgomery County COVID protocols at time of event if required.

The Venue: DCXC 2023 will be held at Schaeffer Farm in Germantown, Maryland, with parking and staging at Button Farm

Please be respectful of the residents and animals at Button Farm as you enter staging area. Button Farm does not allow dogs.

*** NO PRE-RIDING AT BUTTON FARM*** Please do not enter Button Farm before 2pm on 6/3 to pre-ride. They do not allow riders before 2pm on 6/3 or after our event. Unauthorized trespassing at Button Farm endangers our ability to hold our races at this venue in the future.
