DIVA (Divinely Inspired Virtuously Anointed) CYCLING INC is hosting its 4th Annual Colors of Cancers Awareness Ride on Saturday, June 24, 2023. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to the many forms of cancers that affect us, our communities, and fellow cyclists, and to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Your registration fee includes SAG support, rest stop refreshments, post-ride lunch, and donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
You can also donate directly to St. Jude via the below link.
There are three route choices - 62 and 40 mile road routes along Route 301, and a 27 mile route along the beautiful Indian Head Rail Trail to Mattingly Avenue Park. Each route begins and ends at the Indian Head Rail Trail, White Plains, Maryland.
We ask each cyclist to use the chart of ribbons pictured in your registration confirmation email to select and wear the color(s) representing the type of cancer you, your family member(s), and your friend(s) were diagnosed as having. Your selected colors may be worn/represented in any way you prefer.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A RACE. We are asking EVERYONE to ride safely, respect the designated ride leaders/marshalls pace, and ride in uniformity and fellowship for a most noteworthy cause - TO BRING AWARENESS TO THE MANY FORMS OF CANCER.
NOTE: On-site registration will be available day of the event. However, NO post-ride lunch will be available for those who register AFTER registration closes on Wednesday, June 21.
*NO CASH PAYMENTS will be accepted at on-site registration. Only PayPal or CashApp payable to diva.cycling@gmail.com for the Colors of Cancers Awareness Ride.
Direct questions to diva.cycling@gmail.com.
