Kingdom Trails features over 120 miles of bike trails and this is a great opportunity to get out and ride and work on your skills on trail.
We've added a lodging option for a limited number of participants. There are 5 spaces available in our house, centrally located in E. Burke about a half mile from the KT Visitor Center.
Included in the cost of your trip:

- Expert guiding and coaching from some of the most well-known riders/racers in New England.
- Skills instruction from certified instructors to help you get over those tricky spots on the trail
- Kingdom Trail 2-day Membership
- 2 days picnic lunch

Kathi Krause is long-time East Coast rider. She worked her way through various cycling disciplines before finding her home on the Pro Downhill circuit in 1998. In 2011, with three Masters World Downhill Championships and 25 years of racing in her pocket, Kathi started Dirt Rock n Root Training, LLC. DRRT's main objective is to bring more women and kids into mountain biking and to promote cycling as a lifetime sport. Kathi holds instructor certifications through BICP and PMBIA and is a USA Cycling licensed coach. Based in Vernon, New Jersey (right next door to Mountain Creek Bike Park), she coaches trail and downhill skills at various locations on the East Coast. When not coaching, you can find Kathi shredding downhill trails at Creek.
Dawn Bourque didn’t just clean it up on the downhill circuit, she also won a ton of cross country races. She was well-known for taking home the XC, Slalom and DH wins each weekend at the Trail 66 Series in New England. When enduro came around, Dawn came out of retirement and was back on the top spot of the podium. This multi-discipline rider/racer took top honors at multiple Masters World Championships, earning 4 Masters World Downhill Championships and 1 Masters World Cross Country Championship! She also has a bronze medal from Masters Cross Country worlds. Dawn is a great all-around rider with a strong knowledge of the trails in E. Burke and we are very fortunate to have her joining us this year.
Karen Eagan has been mountain biking since 1998 and raced downhill and other gravity disciplines for 10 years as a pro. An early introduction to the owner of Highland Mountain Bike Park (HMBP) allowed Karen to earn her IMBA instructor certification (now BICP) and start developing the Highland Camps brand. She helped create the Highland Camps lesson package and served as HMBP’s Women’s Program Director until 2015. In that time, in conjunction with The New England Mountain Bike Association, she created a women-specific grassroots clinic series, Ride Like A Girl, reaching thousands of women in New England. After a few years away from coaching to care for her elderly parents, Karen is extremely excited to get back to coaching as part of the DRRT team!
