“Growing Lifelong Cyclists”
The mission of the Duluth DEVO Mountain Bike Program is to build strong bodies, minds and relationships through lifelong cycling. We provide programming to help youth become stronger riders, for performance at races, cross-train for other sports, or for fun on Duluth’s great trails.
Devo middle and high school summer/fall Adventure and Race programming.
Adventure Team programming is Devo's non-competitive based program that focuses on skill improvement, riding confidence, exposure to local trails, and riding with peers. Special events/practices include trips to regional trailheads (such as Redhead, Cyuna, CAMBA, Jackpot/Tofte and others), bikepacking, or simply an adventure for an ice cream.
Race Team is a fantastic opportunity for riders of any ability to join Duluth Devo! The Race Team is an incredibly welcoming and supportive group of riders and coaches. Our goal is to help riders become the best that they can be physically and mentally. Our practices certainly focus on training to race and improving on the bike skills. However, in staying true to our youth development roots, we also teach mental skills like teamwork, perseverance, tenacity, managing stress/nerves, etc that are necessary to compete in sports and life. The Team participates in the Minnesota Cycling Association youth race series as well as many other area events. Not all members of the Race Team choose to race. Many join and continue to participate because they enjoy the camaraderie and friendships made on the team.
As always it is our mission to be inclusive and scholarships are available. Please email email@example.com with requests.
