The Ninth Annual Erin's Run is presented by Beal University and will take place on Sunday, October 30th! Erin's Run is an annual 5K road race and walk in memory of Bangor native Erin Woolley. The race raises money for the causes that were important to Erin, including Partners for Peace, the University of Maine Swimming & Diving Program, the aquatics program at the Bangor YMCA, and a scholarship at Bangor High School. Since its inception in 2013, Erin's Run has contributed $89,000 (100% of race proceeds) to these local non-profits. Erin's Run is a volunteer-led organization.
This year's event is taking place on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30th at 9:00 am. The 5K race will start and end on the Bangor Waterfront as usual. There will be a free Kids 1K run immediately prior to the 5K (the Kids Run will begin at approximately 8:45 am; there is no need to register for the Kids Run - just show up!). Registration for the full 5K is open now and costs $15 until September 1st, at which point the registration goes up to $20. Please register today!
