Welcome to the Frosty Feet Winter Challenge. Let's see what Old Man Winter has in store for us. Bundle up Frosty friends, and get ready for some winter fun!  


DATE:  Sunday, December 18, 2022 - Sunday, February 28, 2023 


Long sleeve event shirts are included in the challenge. 


The challenge can be done as a team or solo. Friends or family from near or far can join you on this fun winter challenge.  The Frosty Feet Challenge is all about accountability and offers four distance options: 50, 100, 200, or 300 miles.  There are many ways to achieve your winter goal.  Run (outdoor or tread), walk, swim, hike, cycle, snowshoe, or cross country ski. Upload your activity every week and share your photos on our private Frosty Feet Facebook page.   

NOTE: For team challengers, each person on your team must complete the minimum miles per week (ex: a team of 5 running 10 miles per week will have logged 50 miles by the end of the week)



  • Register for the event.  

  • Must log a minimum of:

    • 5 miles per week / 50-mile challenge

    • 10 miles per week / 100-mile challenge

    • 20 miles per week /  200-mile challenge.

    • 30 miles per week / 300-mile challenge.

  • Your choice to run (outdoor or tread), walk, swim, hike, cycle, snowshoe, or cross-country ski. 

  • Track your performance. Instructions are outlined below.

  • Post pictures and share on any social media channel with #totalimagerunning or #frostyfeetwinterchallenge

  • Private Frosty Feet Challenge Facebook page created to post, motivate and inspire each other 

  • Weekly motivation and training tips

  • Weekly (social distanced) outdoor group run/walks on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m.  Locations will be posted on our Frosty Feet Challenge Facebook page. 



Tracking your mileage is super easy. Once you do it a few times you'll get the hang of it!

  • Go to totalimagerunning.com/RESULTS >> Click FROSTY FEET WINTER CHALLENGE from the results list.

  • Click the "Submit Virtual Results" button at the top of the page

  • Select Activity.  Be sure to specify run, walk, hike, cycle, snowshoe, or tread.

  • Enter completion date 

  • Add distance in miles

  • Time is optional

  • Click "Submit Activity"

  • Done!  Results are automatically updated. Watch your miles add up!
