GO-GO Girls Only Mountain Bike Race is for girls only to learn competitive mountain biking and best practices for mass starts, safe passing, pacing yourself and hopefully, how to stand on a podium properly. This fun and exciting event will help future female racers get ready for upcoming races. Racers will earn podium spots 5-deep and will be recorded for placement purposes only (not timed).

Racers should plan on arriving at the venue at-least 30 minutes before their scheduled race start time to secure race plate to their bike and check in at the registration table.

Parking is available at the registration area (follow sign to Equestrain Center) or the Furnance Rd. parking area (near Apple Orchard trail entrance).  Please plan on moving your car once your child has completed their race as parking is very limited.

All racers MUST wear helmet. All bikes should be equipped with gears and hand brakes. TYO recommends 24" tires or larger.

Some scholarships are available (email julie@trailsforyouth.org) for more information.

If the race is cancelled due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances, there will NOT be a make-up date and no refunds will be given.  The race fee will be considered a donation to TrailsforYouth.Org's at-risk youth nature programs. A reciept will be sent to each registrant for that donation.

After the race, riders can joy ride over to the Suffragist Memorial and Museum and get a great taste of women’s history while enjoying Laurel Hill and Occoquan Parks.

Please note: once you have finished your race, we ask that you please move your car. There is a large parking lot and park located located across Lorton Road (8780 Lorton Rd., Lorton, VA 22079).

Please email julie@trailsforyouth.org if you have any questions or concerns.
