Join us on November 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to ruck in honor of all of our armed forces veterans who have served and sacrificed for our country. The event will be begin at Helena High School and the ruck will be approximately 4 miles in length. All ruckers will walk the Hillsboro Trail to Helena Parkway and return on the same trail. The trail is paved and wooded and will be an easy ruck for anyone. All are encouraged to join! Families, friends, corporate teams, (and especially other law enforcement agencies!) we want everyone to come out and honor our veterans! Last year we had over 300 turn out for the ruck, so help us beat that record this year!
All money raised by the ruck will go to the Alabaster Veteran's Center and the KultureCity sensory awareness/Inclusion program that addresses Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This program ensures that everyone understands that the battle some veteran's fight does not end when they return home, and how important it is for everyone to understand that and how to support them in a time of need.
All registrants will receive a t shirt that can be picked up the morning of the ruck beginning at 8:00 a.m. Anyone who registers after midnight Oct 23rd will not be able to pick up your shirt the day of the ruck, (It will be available for pickup the following week at HPD), so please get your registrations in soon!! All registrations must be done online. There will be no in person registration available. And if you are unable to attend, you can still donate to support this event on the registration page.
We are also accepting items for the silent auction, so if you have something you would like to donate to help us raise even more money, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Kids 12 and under can ruck along with the family for FREE, so bring the kids out for a great cause!!
This event will be rain or shine!!
