Our 2023 races will be chip timed by RaceMaker. Each swimmer will wear an ankle bracelet with a chip attached. Your individual chip time starts when you cross the mat to enter the water and stops when you cross the mat coming out of the water. Timing chips will be given out in race bags for pre-registered swimmers and day before registration. Race Day: give as you register
All participants must be body marked race morning with a permanent marker by a volunteer, and will receive a wristband at packet pickup that is mandatory to wear during the race with their number on it.
Safety support will be coordinated with professional emergency services and volunteers. Swimmers will be briefed on all safety aspects before the start of the race. Race officials have the authority to postpone or cancel the event for safety reasons. Officials, Lifeguards, Referees, and other safety personnel will line the courses. The personnel and volunteers will be on kayaks, paddle boards, and/or John Boat.
