Irish Jig Jog 4k

Run, Walk and Shuffle into the St. Patrick's holiday at Milwaukee's Lakefront in Veterans Park for our 8th Jig Jog event. This is a run/walk 4k event (2.48 miles). We are kid friendly, stroller friendly, dog friendly and beer friendly. This event benefits Special Olympics of Wisconsin.

We will have registration and packet pickup available inside our heated tent prior to the race from 9-9:45am. The race will begin at 10am. We will have pre-race and race music provided by Silver Circle Sports Events.

The race will be timed and clearly marked for the two-mile markers. Water will be available at the halfway point and at the finish line along with a complimentary beer or soda.

There will be a post-race concert by Pat McCurdy inside our heated tent.

Then shuffle your way to Milwaukee's Largest St. Patrick's Celebration, the 14th Annual Shamrock Shuffle. Join 10,000 of Milwaukee's finest drinkers with your Shuffle T-Shirt and passport for our Walkers Point area that comes complimentary with your Jig Jog 4k registration.

The event is benefiting the Special Olympics of Wisconsin. The Special Olympics of Wisconsin (SOWI) provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy while participating in a share of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, Special Olympics athletes and the community.
