About iTRI
The iTRI Racing Series events are designed to introduce young athletes to the world of exercise. Our events encompass the worlds of running, biking and swimming in events such as RUNS, and MULTI-SPORTS (Duathlons, Aquathlons and Triathlons). Whether it's our RUN events or our MULTI-SPORT events, athletes will have the opportunity to grow as an individual and learn about the community of these disciplines in a fun and positive environment. Athletes ages 2-15 are eligible to partake in our RUN events and athletes 5 and up are eligible to partake in our MULTI-SPORT events. Athletes will compete based upon their age on December 31 of the year of the event.
iTRI RUNS:
WHY WE RUN - The iTRI RUN Series was created for kids to set a goal of improvement over a 5-race period. We want kids to take that first run, set their baseline, then push themselves to surpass it each race. PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS, and you will see at the final race what hard work can get you! Running is a sport that can be done individually or in a group. We really love to see our Miami families Get Out, Be Active, and Get Healthy, together! We want to make Miami a happy and healthier place, and it all starts with what we do at home and in our community. So grab your parents, a friend, a neighbor, and go for a run!
HOW IT WORKS - Kids ages 2-15 can sign up! Kids run according to their age on December 31 of the event's year. Either sign up for an individual race or the 5-race series bundle, which includes all 5 RUN events AND a t-shirt. We encourage to sign up your child for the 5-race bundle to see just how much they improve over the 5 event series. (Plus, you get a giveaway and save on the bundle, win-win!)
SCORING & BLING: Athletes that participate in ALL 5 RUN events will be eligible for the overall top 3 placements at the end of the series. Top 3 runners in each division will receive a trophy (points are based on cumulative scores from all 5 events). Completion medals will be given to all participants that run at the final race. COVID-19 Protocols: iTRI and Miami Dade Parks continue to follow CDC guidelines. Masks are optional for athletes and spectators at all iTRI events.

Run #5 - Logan's Dash
DARE to DASH?! Logan's Dash is a 75 Yard race for kids with special needs ages 2-15 of all levels of skill and abilities. Parents, aides, or caregivers are welcome to assist the participants to the finish line if necessary. Please note, the course is on a grass field and mobility aids are allowed. It is up to the participant's and/or the family's discretion if they see it fit to participate in. *Space limited to 30 participants *Daring Dashers will receive top three placement ribbons each race *Participation medals are given to all those participating in 5th race. *One parent/aid/caregiver allowed to assist participant in event.
