SANDY HOOK - NATIONAL GATEWAY PARK

The Jersey Shore Half Marathon has a history that places it as one of the oldest distance events held in New Jersey and the surrounding areas. The first Jersey Shore Marathon was held in 1972. This USATF-certified course is known for being flat and fast, and a great way to prepare for your fall marathon!  Runners can enjoy a dunk in the Ocean when you are done!
All entrants will receive a complimentary long-sleeve race shirt, discounts from our sponsors and a race completion medal. Food and drinks will be available to all runners after the race. 

HALF REGISTRATION
$50 early bird discount by January 31, 2022
$60 by June 26, 2022
$70 by September 19, 2022
$85 by September 26, 2022
$95 on Event day


2 MILE REGISGTRATION
$25 flat rate for the 2 mile run 
race to begin 5 minutes after the half start

CHARITY PARTNER
This year we are partnering with the Sandy Hook Foundation, the official nonprofit friends group to the National Park Service at Sandy Hook, NJ, a unit of Gateway National Recreation Area. Established in 1989, the Foundation has funded cultural, educational, environmental, and conservation programs and has helped restore and preserve historic structures of the Sandy Hook Lighthouse and Fort Hancock — both National Historic Landmarks. During registration, participants have the option to make a tax-deductible donation to The Sandy Hook Foundation through, to support the Foundation's work within the park.
The Foundation will also be present at Area E on race day.
