Martin Marietta will host the Inaugural Keffer Cares Boulder Dash 5K & 5 Miler on October 8, 2022. The quarry, just south of Sunset Road, provides a 14% incline as it descends 9/10 of a mile down before turning for a climb upward. Participants will receive a CRAFT branded Tech shirt and a Finisher's Cup.

Martin Marietta is committed to promoting environmental stewardship while producing quality aggregate materials for our customers. Martin Marietta is also committed to being a responsible neighbor and supporting the communities that are home to our operations. This event brings both of those objectives together. The 5K & 5 Miler is designed to showcase the quarry operation and plant equipment, while also testing your endurance to run in and out of the pit with a 300-foot elevation difference.
