Course: Langley is a fast, .4 mile stock car oval with nice wide corners. This is considered a “flat” track by auto racing standards, but the corners are still banked for your speedy pleasure.

Location: 11 Dale Lemonds Drive, Hampton, VA 23666. Plenty of parking is available right next to the track. If you have a team tent you can set it up in the infield of the track.

Registration: Register online at www.bikereg.com . Online registration closes at 12PM (noon) on Friday, March 20th. Day-of registration opens at 7:15 AM and is available for a $10 late charge (excludes Juniors and Cat 5/Novice Men and Women). A second race is just $10. Entry fees include $5 USAC fee and $1.25 VCA BAR fee. 2019 VCA Series Winners must pre-register and email the promoter their category to receive $6.25 entry. If you are a promoter of a race in the VCA series you are eligible for $6.25 entry and must pre-register and email the promoter with your category.

License: Beginner One-day and Annual licenses will be available for purchase on race day. Experienced riders must renew their annual license or purchase a one-day license online from USA Cycling. Race Licenses from other countries will not be accepted. Please ensure that you have a USA Cycling License.

Rules: All USAC rules apply. ANSI Z90.4 approved helmets are required to be worn whenever riding on or near the race course. No aero bars permitted in mass start races. No Cat 5/Novice riders permitted in Masters races. No refunds. Events held rain or shine, however the race directors and officials reserve the right to cancel the event in the case of severe weather as deemed necessary for safety.

Prize Payouts: Promoter reserves the right to reduce payout in the elite fields if there are less than 25 racers at the start. Payouts for elite fields are based on 25 starters for Men’s Cat 1/2/3 and 25 starters for Women’s Cat 1/2/3. With 25 starters the breakdown will be 1st place/$400, 2nd place/$250, 3rd place/$175, 4th place/ $100, 5th place/ $75. If there are 10-24 starters for each field then the total payout will be reduced to $500 each with the following breakdown 1st place/$225, 2nd place/$125, 3rd place/ $75, 4th Place/$50, 5th place/ $25. If there are 9 or less starters for each field then the total payout will be reduced to $300 each with the following breakdown 1st place/ $125, 2nd place/$75, 3rd place/$50, 4th place/$35, 5th place/$15.

Küat Rack Giveaway: Küat Racks has donated a Sherpa 2.0 hitch mounted bike rack to THR Cycling to be awarded to one lucky winner. Every entry into one of THR Cycling's road events in 2022 automatically enters you into the random draw while multiple entrys increase your odds of winning when the drawing is done in July after the final THR Cycling road event. Spectators are also eligible to enter under the merchandise section of each event. Tickets are $5 each for spectators or racers who want additional tickets to have their name entered into the drawing. The money generated from the random draw will be allocated to primes for the events. The winner will be announced after the drawing and the rack will be shipped to the winner.
