LINKS Charity and UPMC Chautauqua are partnering with the Northwest Arena in a grassroots effort to encourage our community to embrace the fight
against breast cancer, pay tribute to those who are battling breast cancer, and to promote good breast health throughout the month of October -Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, we will have a 5K run and walk outside around Jamestown, while inside we will have a .5 mile walk around the track in the Northwest Arena where we
will “Link” together! We are asking if you are unable to attend, that you will raise funds and contribute as a virtual walker. Make your own page, share, post, and try to raise the most to win a fabulous prize.

In 2011, in honor of its 20th anniversary, LINKS Charity introduced the inaugural LINKS Pink Walk and solidified its commitment to enhancing local cancer care. LINKS Charity is in the midst of a four -year $400,000 pledge toward the purchase of the Discovery 630 System.

It’s all about going PINK! You are encouraged to be creative and wear as much pink as possible!
There are several ways you can support the LINKS Pink Walk, including:
-Participate as a Walker/Runner - securing as many pledges as possible to support your effort

-Organize a Team to Run/Walk together (challenge friends, co-workers and creatively outfit yourselves in PINK)
-Sponsor a Walker/Runner - make a generous pledge
-Serve as an Event Sponsor
-Purchase “Tribute Link” In Honor of or In Memory of a loved one that will be used to build our LINKS Tribute Chain
-Make a gift-in-kind donation for the Basket Raffle at the Walk
-Make an outright tax-deductible gift to: LINKS Charity

Our goal this year is to raise $20,000!!

The 2019 LINKS Pink Walk will feature:
-Commemorative Event T-Shirt (register before September 2)
-Complimentary Lunch for all runners/walkers/volunteers
-Carrying of the LINKS Tribute Chain on walk
-Breast Cancer Education & Awareness
