Race Route:
This is a point to point race. Start = Police Jury Parking lot, 1110 Pithon Street, corner of Lakeshore Drive and Gill Street. Run along parade route on Ryan Street. Finish = W. Sale Road at South end of Albertson's parking lot.

Friday, February 17, 2023, 12:00PM-5:00PM at Athlete's Corner, 1737 W. Sale Road

Sunday, February 19, 2023, 11:30AM-1:00PM at Albertson's, 4060 Ryan Street, on South end of parking lot near W.Sale Road

Important note = Registered participants need photo identification. Proxy pickup is allowed for immediate family members, husband/wife/sibling, with identification. 

Race day schedule:
Packet pickup & race day registration = 11:30AM-1:00PM                                                                                

BUS transportation from Albertson's to Police Jury Parking lot (start of race) = bus will leave at following times Time 1 = 12:00PM/ Time 2 = 12:45PM/ Time 3 = 1:30PM.

*Please note that there is limited seating on bus. Plan appropriately. Transportation included in race registration.

Race begins = 2:30PM  *Start may not be exact due to parade. Be prepared if start is slightly earlier or later.

Price increases January 21st. 

Price increases to $45 on Feb 11th. Online registration will close on Feb 17th. Race Day registration: $50.

The start of the race is at the Police Jury Parking lot (the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Gill Street). It is a point to point race that coincides with the Mardi Gras Children’s parade route.The course runs down the Mardi Gras Parade route just an hour before The Children's Parade. Can't beat the crowd support on this one. At the finish we'll have boudin, King cake, and beverages! Please note--last date for guaranteed shirt is 02/10/2022.  After that, it is a first come, first serve basis.

We are asking everyone to please park at Albertson’s on Sale Street and we will bus everyone to the start of the race. There is no charge for the bus.

The race starts at about 2:30 pm, so you need to be at Albertson’s (which is the end of the race) in ample time to catch the last bus, which will probably run at about 1:30 pm.  Traffic is THICK so we have to allow ample time for the bus to get through.

All race registration fees are final.  There are no refunds, transfers or deferrals.  Thank you for your understanding.  This includes weather related issues.
