Back again for more Summer speed!

Break away from longer road races and go all out for 1-Mile for as fast as you can go.  This is a Real mile event, AKA the "Full Mile" the "1609" the "Get-in Get-out" event.

This event will take place at Pellissippi State Community College Campus (Hardin Valley Campus) and will feature FAST race heats with similarly level fitness athletes in each heat.  First heat will begin at 7:30pm for some CRAZY quick heats during an evening under the lights of the campus.  Campus will be very well lit for runners to see the course considering being held at twilight.  ONE BIG LOOP- NO LAPS! All road terrain with 400m Markers at each point for splits.  Spectators are welcome as this is expected to be a fiercely competitive and FLAT course.  Awards will be given to the top performer in their age group per 10-year increments for each gender as well as Grandmaster awards after results are collected.

Race will Cap at 150 runners.  During sign up all registrants MUST enter realistic finish times which they anticipate being able to run (estimations should be appropriate).

Runners will be placed in heats according to their projected times (more accurate the better) and will be notified of when their heat will take place the week of the event once seeding has been completed.  Restrooms will be available at the event (portables) as no access is allowed inside institutionally owned buildings.  No T-shirts for this years event.

Course consists of one lap around the inner loop of the campus, at the 700m mark runners will charge down a gentle slope into a steady flat section followed by a 1% grade for 100m with the final 500m being completely flat straight into the finish chute.

Course is USATF certified for official results and can be found searchable through verification code: TN21039MS
