Northstar Downhill Series Race #5 - Livewire Classis
Downhill Mountain Bike enthusiasts are offered the perfect conditions for downhill racing on Northstar California’s terrain and can compete against one another all summer long during the Downhill Mountain Bike Race Series featuring divisions for men, women and juniors. The top three racers in each division will receive awards at the conclusion of each race as well as the conclusion of the entire series, based on cumulative points. The Intro to Racing division is meant to introduce new competitors to Downhill Mountain biking. Intro to Racing will award the top 3 racers at the conclusion of each race, however will not be included in year-end awards. An after party and awards ceremony will be hosted on the Stage in the Northstar Village with food and drink specials for competitors to enjoy. Awards are scheduled to begin approximately 30 minutes after the final competitor finishes.

- CHAINLESS RACE
- Chainless race will follow 15 minutes after the final Livewire competitor finishes, if time allows. Registration will take place at the top of the race course only. $20 CASH (exact change is appreciated).

- In order to be considered for series points, a racer must race in four out of the six races in the same category.
Transfers
- All Race Registration sales are final and no refunds will be granted. If communicated to the Race Organizer before the day of the race you will be allowed to transfer your registration to another Northstar Race (excluding CES Enduro and Tahoe Trail 100).
- As well you are welcome to transfer your registration to another person (fees may apply). These transfers can happen up to 12pm the Friday before the race thru your BikeReg.com account.
**Helmets are required at all times while on a bike. Format will be a one-run time race. USA Cycling license is not required. All racers must complete the Mountain Bike Release of Liability prior to racing. Please call 1.800.466.6784 for more information.
