invite you to a bit of racing fun during Pickin' & Pedalin' weekend

With a light-hearted Pickin' & Pedlain' DH race for those 11 years old and above on the Western Territory,

and a Dirt-Bug Dash DH race for 5-10 year olds on our newest trail Whistle Pig, 

there's a little something for just about everyone!

REGISTRATION

Registration for Pickin' & Pedalin' and Dirt Bug Dash races are online only - however participants will need to pick up their racer packet and sign the event waiver prior to racing:

• Packet Pick Up:    Saturday 18.July.2022     10am-2pm     Registration Main Entrance behind the information booth. (Cantina) 

PRICING

• Pickin' & Pedalin' Race 
  • $20 - season pass holder/already have a lift ticket          
  • $40 - need a lift ticket (Bike Park ticket or Season Pass required to race)

• Dirt Bug Dash Race:               
  • $20 - season pass holder/already have a lift ticket
  • $40 - need a lift ticket (Bike Park ticket or Season Pass required to race)

CLASSES

• Dirt-Bug Dash (one parent or guardian may trail their child, but may not assist them in any way)
  • Dirt Bug Dashling: Boys 5-7 years old
  • Dirt Bug Darling: Girls 5-7 years old
  • Dirt-Bug Dashers: Boys 8-10 years old
  • Dirt-Bug Dashetts: Girls 8-10 years old

• Pickin' & Pedalin'
  • Boys 11-14
  • Boys 15-17
  • Men 18-39
  • Men 40-49
  • Men 50+
  • Men Open (Cat 1/Pro)
  • Girls 11-14
  • Girls 15-17

RACE START LOCATIONS & TIMES

• Dirt Bug Dash:     Top of Whistle Pig                         9:30am 
• Pickin' & Pedalin':   Top of Western                            1pm
  • Time Trial format w/ timing chip
  • Course to include World Cup Sections           

AWARDS

• Dirt Bug Dash:    Boathouse 1/2 hour after race completion
• Pickin' & Pedalin':    Bottom of Western 1/2 hour after race completion

REQUIREMENTS TO RACE

• All competitors must sign a waiver prior to the event.  Please come to the registration main gate during packet pick up hours to sign waiver.  Racers 17 or younger must have a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.  
• Competitors are responsible for assessing the course to determine if their skill set is adequate to safely attempt the course.
• Race registration based on your age ON THE DATE OF THE EVENT
• Snowshoe Events reserves the right to alter classes, course, registration, prizing, or any other aspect of this event as necessary
• Dirt Bug Dash race - one parent or guardian may trail their child down the Whistlepig course during this race.  However, no assistance may be given to the child at any time during their run.
• No striders are allowed for the Dirt-Bug Dash.  The bike must have brakes!!
