Join thousands of animal lovers for the 21st Annual Dog Jog, 5K and Block Party, presented by Holiday Barn Pet Resorts and benefiting the Richmond SPCA! Participate in person or select the "run anywhere" option.
Expect a day packed with fun activities for the whole family. The day begins with a chip-timed 5K (3.1 mile) for people only, followed by the Little Paws Fun Run for kids ages 4 to 10 and then a leisurely 1-mile Dog Jog before our Block party, which is free to attend, kicks off at noon. Your participation makes a lifesaving difference to pets in need. All net proceeds aid in our efforts to rescue and rehabilitate homeless animals and to deliver crucial programs to pets and the people who love them.
Your Dog Jog, 5K or Run Anywhere registration includes:
- An event T-shirt (for the first 1,000 registrants)
- An event medal (for the first 1,000 registered participants)
- A bag full of exciting giveaways from our generous sponsors (for the first 1,000 registrants)
- A numbered race bib (for the 5K)
- GPS tracking, progress alerts and official race timing through the RaceJoy app as you hit milestones along your route (if you choose our Run Anywhere option)

Register by February 28 to save $10 on your chip-timed, sanctioned registration fee for adults or youths! Starting on March 1, prices will increase to $40. Online registration will be open until 5 p.m. on March 24, 2023. Day-of registrations will occur the morning of March 25, 2023 in our registration area. Dog Jog In-person
Register for a fun 1-mile walk/jog with your dog! Registration is per dog. All dogs must wear ID tags, be on a leash at all times (no flexi/retractable leashes permitted), socialize well with other dogs, be current on rabies vaccinations, be at least six months of age and not be in heat. Please be kind to your canine companion and maintain a leisurely pace. Register by February 28 to save $10 on your registration fee! Starting on March 1, prices will increase to $40. Online registration will be open until 5 p.m. on March 24, 2023. Both Dog Jog and 5K In-person
Register for both events and save $15! The 5K race is for people only. The Dog Jog is a fun 1-mile walk/jog for you and your dog. Register by February 28 and save on your registration fee!
