The Ride-to-Remember - XI - 11'th Anniversary Ride will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023. This years ride will begin at the Irish Cultural Center, 429 Morgan Road, West Springfield, MA. The past ten years of the Ride-to-Remember have been dedicated to First Responders who were killed in the line of duty in Massachusetts. This ride was started 11 years ago to honor Fallen Springfield Police Officer Kevin Ambrose. Since then we have dedicated this ride to other fallen police officers and firefighters in Massachusetts. This year we are dedicating the R2R11 to all the Correction Officers and EMT's in the State. They are unsung heroes and have dedicated their lives to a safer Massachusetts.
The R2R11 will begin promptly at 9:00 am from the ICC. There is PLENTY of free parking. Riders can assemble at 7:00 am. There will be a free breakfast. This ride is fully supported. Please get your bike tuned up before the ride. There will be bike mechanics at the start and following during the ride to fix all your flats at no charge. There will be over 100 volunteers to assist you in the morning with anything you need.
There will be three fully supported rest-stops during the R2R11 with 100's of volunteers along the way and at each stop. You will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner along with power bars and riding gels.
At the conclusion of the ride there will be a huge after-party at the Irish Cultural Center, 429 Morgan Rd. West Springfield. There will be dinner and a concert by the great rock band, General Gist. We encourage that all your friends and family attend at no charge.

This years ride will be approximately 50-70 miles. (The route has not been finalized yet, but will be scenic and amazing!) The elevation climb will not be bad. There will be dozens of police officers on motorcycles escorting you and the State Police Helicopter will be above you the entire route. Once you clip-in you don't clip-out till you reach your rest stop. There will be three AMR ambulances following us the entire way. There will also be a luxury Peter Pan Bus following the riders, just in case your not feeling it that day. You can rest on the bus and re-join the riders at any point of the ride.
This R2R11 (like all the others) will be the BEST RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!! Memories and new friends will be made!!
