The annual Run for the Woods 5k is back with a new Fall date! This year's race should take place at the height of Fall colors! This 5k is a single loop, run entirely on the shaded, dirt trails of the Rutgers Ecological Preserve. Proceeds benefit forest restoration in the EcoPreserve and the Ecology and Evolution Graduate Student Association.
Prizes include gift certificates to RoadID, native shrubs from Pinelands Nursery, a pair of shoes from Road Runner Sports! Thanks to these sponsors as well as Bagel Boys in North Brunswick.
Packet pick-up will take place at the RoadRunner Sports in East Brunswick. Parking at the race start is somewhat limited. Those with a Rutgers parking pass should park in a lot they are permitted for. Others can register for a temporary pass at this link and should park in Lot 103. The nearest restroom is in the Livingston Recreation Center.
