Race capped at 500 including 5k, 1mile.

 

When: 

  • Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022

  • 5k @ 8:00 a.m.

  • 1 mi @ 8:40 a.m


5K Race:

  • Chip timed

  • Short sleeve tri-blend gender-specific shirt, guaranteed if registered by November 10th

  • Unique stuffed gnomes for top three overall male/female

  • Finisher medals

  • Age group awards, 3 deep in five year age groups from 15 and under to 80 and up

 

1 mile Fun Run:

  • Not timed. Not chipped.

  • Gender specific tri-blend shirt, guaranteed if registered by November 10th.

  • Finisher medal

  • No age group/overall awards. Under 17 must be with parent.

 

5k Virtual:

  • Gender specific tri-blend shirt (guaranteed if registered by November 10th) and medal mailed to participant 

Parking:  Free

Course:  Run through beautiful Al Lopez Park on a flat, mainly asphalt, course. 

Awards: 

  • Running shoes from Feet First & New Balance to 1st place male/female adult finishers and 1st place under 15

  • Gnome trophies to 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall  5k male/female finishers.

  • Middle of the Pack award: two pairs of running shoes from The Running Center given away in random drawing.

  • 5K Age Group Awards, 3 deep: Under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Pre-Race Registration Fees:


5K, $30 until July 31st. $35 until October 31st. $40 until 500 participant limit is reached or midnight December 5th.


Virtual 5k, $30


One Mile Fun Run, $15 until October 31st. Then, $20 until 500 participant limit is reached or until midnight December 5th.

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up:
Wednesday, Dec. 7th, at the Run Tampa Wednesday night group run at Hyde Park Village, 1602 W. Snow Avenue, South Tampa, 4:30-7 p.m. Group run is from 6-7. 
Thursday, Dec 9th, The Running Center, 14427 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, North Tampa, 4:30-7 p.m.

 

Race Day, 12/10/21, Schedule:

6:30 am – 7:45 am bib/shirt pickup
8:00 am - 5K starts
8:40 am - 1 Mile Fun Run starts

Wear your holiday-themed running attire! Santa will be there!

Thank you for understanding there are NO refunds. Due to insurance/liability policies, race bibs/numbers CANNOT be transferred, given away or sold. You may legally transfer your race bib at no charge via your race registration confirmation if done by 11/26/22.
