Scouting Power and 5K Color Dash

Tired of sitting in the frozen tundra of a North Dakota?  Like watching people running for their lives, even if it’s not from bears?

Racing in a color run on your bucket list? Are you ready to break up with winter?

While we don’t have to worry about running from bears, this will be a great opportunity for anyone looking at shrugging off the winter or preparing for the wilds of the Fargo Marathon being held less than two weeks after our race.

What better way then to help our Troop 5401 and register to run/walk/dance/scout our 5k color run. Not only will you be better prepared to outlast that bear chasing you, you'll know your helping our future leaders!

Funds raised will go to supporting programming for our BSA unit - Things such as awards, merit badges, equipment, and our first trailer.

It is our hope to hold this race annually, with a future scout sash to add all of your Scouting Power race patches. 

Troop 5401 is our only female Scouts BSA unit in Minot and chartered in 2019. We are proud to have the first seven female Eagle Scouts in the Northern Lights Council which includes North Dakota, northwestern Minnesota, and parts of South Dakota and Montana. We already have three more scouts working on their Eagle projects and helping their communities in the next few months.
