Bradford County’s point-to-point half marathon will take place along the beautiful shores of the Susquehanna River. The route begins at 9 am in Sayre, PA, and follows along the river through an area rich in Native American history.
Runners will experience 1,219 ft of elevation change throughout the race, enjoying some challenging hills, valleys, and beautiful fall leaves! Local hotels and motels will be offering special rates, and the Hornbrook campground will offer free camping to all runners.
The race start will be at Riverfront Park located at 100 Riverfront Park Rd, Sayre, PA 18840 and end at Hornbrook Park at 1241 Hornbrook Road Towanda, PA 18848. Water stations will be set up along the route and registration open at 8:00am.
There will be a bus to shuttle participants from Hornbrook to the starting line but no bus to shuttle races back to the starting line after the race. There will also be food and refreshments for after the race.
The race benefits Down Syndrome Awareness and all proceeds received will be donated to the group Walk for Our Buddies.
