Join us for a unique, but always super special CycleNY Advocacy Ride on Long Island - Welcome Back Riders!!

Join us on Sunday, October 9, 2022 for the 7th annual CycleNY Long Island Ride to benefit the NY Bicycling Coalition (NYBC.net). The ride will begin at the Stony Brookside Bed and Bike Inn, with 25 mile and 50 mile route options. Both routes boast views and the area's beautiful mostly lightly traveled back roads. The longer route option will include some more challenging hills. Note:  This is a non refundable, rain or shine event. Remember, every dollar paid benefits the New York Bicycling Coalition.

Note: Some COVID rules may still apply and are subject to change, please read:

Arrival:  In order to minimize possible crowding, please arrive onto the grounds of the Stony Brookside no more than 15 - 20 minutes ahead of your scheduled ride time. Check out Stony Brook Village if you arrive early. Departure groups will continue to be staggered. Wearing a mask is now optional and per the discretion of the rider. Departure: Riders will be promptly sent out in groups of 65.

Rest Stops:  Please do not linger around the serving tables to avoid crowding. Grab what you need, and go.  Please make sure you use the hand sanitizer that is provided when taking your snacks.

Post ride gathering: Refreshment gathering after the ride has always been a tradition that has made this ride special. Please feel free to hang out as long as you like and enjoy.

The Stony Brookside Bed and Bike Inn will provide a place to launch the ride and return for refueling with food, and rehydrating while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow cyclists!

As you may know, NYBC is the only state-wide bicycle advocacy group working to keep New York roads safe for all cyclists. We also have a robust statewide bike safety awareness and education program! We continue to support and advocate the expansion of more multi use trails on Long Island.

This ride is a way for us to meet other cyclists in our region, raise awareness of NYBC, grow membership and support, and to enjoy the beauty of Long Island's North Shore.
