The Great National Park Relay

You and a team of 7 others from around the country will compete together to go as far as possible in one day. Run or walk as far as you can in one hour on October 9, 2021.

While you can race anywhere you’d like, you select a specific time slot to compete for your 24-hour relay team. Teams and time slots are first-come, first-serve, so if you and your friends want to run on the same team, register early!

The race will start at midnight Pacific Time on October 9, 2021 (3 a.m. ET) and finish at 11:59 p.m. that same day. At the end of the race, we’ll add up how far each team went to see which one went the farthest.

A handful of teams are also listed as “casual" for those who would like to participate in the Great National Park Relay, but plan to go only a short distance within their hour of racing.
