The Wire Donkey – Presented by Burro Bikes

Thank you for registering with us for the Uber Drahtesel (The Wire Donkey) in the beautiful and historic German settlement of New Ulm, TX!  We have three routes with a beginner friendly 15 miler, 38 mile (50k) Little Donkey, and a 62 mile (100k) Big Donkey route options. 

All distances will roll out together at 9:00am with the Big Donkey riders up front.  All routes feature minimal pavement, a great variety of gravel types, lots of elevation, and a great after ride party at the Fireman's Park property with food/drink, and fun included in registration.  We are happy to offer neutral hydration support from Core Culture!  Also, big thanks to our sponsor Houston Fish Law and Andrew Perez State Farm Agency!

All registered participants will receive an info email first thing Friday morning before the event.  All riders should start the ride with a minimum of 2 water bottles or a hydration pack, all needed nutrition, and a repair kit for flat tires and minor mechanical needs.  Riders should also carry a cell phone for emergency calls, and have the gps files loaded onto their bike computer or phone in the Ride With GPS app for navigation.  The routes are not marked.
