DAVE'S THIRSTY THURSDAY BREWERY SERIES — PATRON SAINTS

Who loves summer? We certainly do at Dave's Running Shop.

With that in mind, Dave's is taking their Thirsty Thursday to locally owned breweries in the area. We love nothing more than to support our local business partners, and a fantastic way to do it is by having a run, drinks, and camaraderie with the local running and walking community at locally owned breweries.

The first stop will be at a local favorite for runners, walkers, and bikers alike: Patron Saints Brewery. This will be a SPECIAL event because we are having a fundraiser to help one of the owners and his family. Aaron "Griz" Grizaniuk is fighting a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dave's Running Shop has donated a special prize package to raffle off as well as a commemorative Summer Brewery Series t-shirt. Both can be purchased during registration because this event is FREE. All of the proceeds from the raffle and part of the t-shirt sales will be donated to Aaron and his family to help offset the cost of medical bills and other financial hurdles.

The "Runner's Dream Basket" will be raffled off on the May 19th run at Patron Saints, and you do NOT have to be present to win. All online raffle tickets will be entered into the drawing, and we will also be selling them at our Metropark Monday Events.
