Tour of Georgia Gran Fondo to Benefit Team Type 1 (TT1)

The Tour of Georgia Gran Fondo returns to White County's Helen, GA again this year, attracting bike riders from throughout the region, and through out the nation. Team Type 1 (TT1) has been designated as the Charity Beneficiary for this year's event. We would very much appreciate your support to help as a volunteer for the event!

Your help makes it possible for us to donate to the local beneficiary for each event and put on great events!
Every volunteer receives a complimentary entry to a GFNS event.  Work one event, get one comp entry.  
To take advantage of the Ride-Free option, volunteers should commit to slots of 3 hours or more, i.e. just helping with breakdown does not equal a free entry. Always feel free to send an email or call with question for clarification; we want this to work for you. The complimentary entry can be given to another person to use at the event you help with, or used for your own entry to a future GFNS event. Contact us to request a comp entry for you, a friend, spouse, or loved one.

Volunteer options include assisting with the set-up of the venue or rider registration before the event. You can also help out on the course by volunteering at one of our aid stations where you can greet riders and make sure they are stocked up on water and snacks (we provide the supplies). Manning a timed section involves cheering on riders as they race each other through the timed sections of the course. Finally, you can help out at the finish line by greeting riders upon there return and collecting their timing chips or helping out with the breakdown of the venue!
