Like William Wallace famously stated, "Every man/woman dies, not every man/woman truly lives." Here's an epic opportunity to truly live. Join us March 25-27, 2022 for the West Coast Events in the Anza Borrego Desert. You have the option of attempting the Goat Canyon 4/12 Hour SUCK Friday March 25, 7PM - Saturday March 26, 7AM and/or the Rabbit Peak Trail Run Saturday March 26, 4PM - Sunday March 27, 10AM. For the truly insane, give the DEVIL'S DOUBLE a try which consists of completing the Goat Canyon 12 Hour SUCK then after only 4 hours of sleep attempting the 22 Mile Rabbit Peak Trail Run. As far as we know, this has never been done in the same weekend due to the difficulty of both trails.

Goat Canyon 4/12 Hour SUCK --- Friday, March 25 - 7PM - Saturday, March 26 - 7AM

The SUCK: any situation where conditions are undesirable, a testament to the dedication of those who endure it.

Created by Guinness World Record Holder and 2 x Death Race Winner, Joe Decker. Each overnight SUCK consists of many hours of intense individual fitness challenges consisting of miles of trail running, carrying heavy objects, military calisthenics plus strongman training and more. Even though the SUCK is extremely challenging the end goal is about EMPOWERMENT. We are not there to crush you but to motivate you. We all have weaknesses and you'll find them out there in the woods around 2 AM in the morning. Recognize them then adapt and overcome. Come join us at one of the voted "Most Extreme Fitness Tests in America“

All finishers that complete the ENTIRE event will receive a one of a kind Challenge Coin. This CAN NOT be purchased and MUST be earned. In addition you are added to the list of those that have officially "Embraced the SUCK."

• Ruck Sack / Backpack - I personally recommend a 60 liter / 3500 cubic inch

Rabbit Peak Trail Run --- Saturday, March 26 - 4 PM - Sunday, March 27 - 10AM

This event will consist of trail running or hiking from the desert floor to the top of Rabbit Peak and back. This peak is the tallest in SoCal and one of the least visited due to it's difficulty. It's 22 miles round trip, if you don't get lost, with over 8,000 feet of elevation gain. There will be no water/aid stations along the way and you must carry all of your own water, food and supplies. Enough to last for 15-20 hours (minimum 2.5 gallons) with most of it in the dark.

All finishers will receive a very cool handmade Fear the Rabbit Medal.  You're not afraid of a little ole Rabbit are you?!

DEVIL'S DOUBLE (SUCK + Rabbit Peak) --- Friday, March 25 - 7 PM - Sunday, March 27 - 10AM

Imagine if I told you that you could hike to the world’s tallest wooden train trestle, the Goat Canyon Trestle one night then conquer Southern California’s tallest peak, Rabbit Peak, the next night, all in one weekend?! Well you can. Welcome to the inaugural DEVIL'S DOUBLE in the DESERT. All you have to do is complete the Goat Canyon SUCK Friday night, upon completion you will be allowed to sleep for 4 Hours, then you'll head out at 4PM on Saturday to tackle the infamous Rabbit Peak. Complete BOTH of these extremely daunting tasks and you will have earned the very first DEVIL'S DOUBLE in the DESERT Award. In addition, as far as I know, this has never been done before. Are you ready to"truly live?!"
