The West Creek 5K is part of the West Creek Endurance festival consisting of a variety of races for ALL ages from youth to adult. The event includes a 5k run, adult/junior non-draft and draft-legal duathlons, and a youth duathlon. Hosted by Live Red Foundation, this event funds free fitness programs which teach life-skills to-low opportunity neighborhoods.

The 5k course is a relatively flat and fast 1-loop course in beautiful West Creek where runners will have the full, closed road without any concern of vehicular traffic. The adult/junior duathlon course for ages 13+ to adult will include a 1/2 mile run (1-loop), 7.2 mile bike (4-loops), and 2.5k run (1-loop). The entire course is on a closed loop free of any vehicular traffic. This is a draft-legal race with the option to use a triathlon or road bike. The youth duathlon course for ages 12 and under will include a 1/2 mile run (1-loop), 3.6 mile bike (2-loops), and 1.25k run (1-loop). The entire course is on a closed loop free of any vehicular traffic. The youth race will be draft-legal though participants can choose not to draft.
