Ready to make a Wolfpack impact for the South Kitsap High School Dance Team! Run, walk or donate from anywhere!
We need you to join us! Donate, run, walk and challenge yourself at the same time help our teens achieve their dreams.
What exactly is the Wolf Pack Dancer Dash Virtual Race? To sum it up -- runners from all over the United States can run races and challenges "virtually" between the race dates given for each event.
We have four fantastic virtual events for you to join us in. Registering for multiple events in a single registration session will result in automatic discounts on each additional event added. When you register this way, we will only send you one free t-shirt per participant, instead of one per event. So sign up as many as you want in one transaction to enjoy the discount, or come back and sign up for each individually to get additional free shirts for yourself.
Our races and challenges will keep you running and staying active all the while supporting high school competitive dancers in their sport.
These events are put on by the South Kitsap High School Dance Team Boosters, a 503 (c) 3 non profit, which exists to support the dancers of the South Kitsap High School Dance Team, and further the sport of dance. 100% of the donations and profits from our events and fundraisers go to help the dancers of the South Kitsap High School, and promote competitive dance.
You can also help support the team by attending the team competitions, promoting and going to our events, and donating to us in support of the team.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN / WALK?
A Virtual Race Series is a race or challenge you can complete anytime or place! There isn't a set time or place since virtual runs are meant for you to complete at your convenience and at your own pace. Our races and challenges can be completed at any time between the race start and finish dates.
You can run or walk any event in the series. You can add up your miles over several days, weeks or months. Challenge yourself to complete all 4 events for the entire Wolfpack Dancer Dash throughout the entire summer. You can run or walk for any of the miles. You can do it!
WHERE DO I COMPLETE MY RUNS?
Since it is a virtual race, where you put in your miles it entirely up to you - road, treadmill, trail, track...you get the idea. Just be safe and keep it legal, so no sneaking into off limits areas to do your routes. It could be hard to explain to an officer why you chose where you did.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE MY 5K, 10K or 30 DAY CHALLENGE DISTANCE?
You can do all your miles on one day or break it up over several days or weeks. Just make sure you finish and log in your miles before the event closes.
HOW DO I LOG & TRACK MY MILES FOR A 30 DAY CHALLENGE?
You can easily track your miles online in your RunSignup account. Once you do it a couple times it will be a piece of cake!
1. Login to RunSignup. We recommend letting it remember your username/password as you'll be here often!
2. Navigate to the Results page. We recommend bookmarking this page so you can find it quickly.
3. Click "Submit Virtual Results"
4. You will be shown a calendar, select the current day or the day for which you are entering the miles.
5. A second box says "Distance in Miles", add the miles you ran that day.
6. Click "Submit your time"
RunSignup will automatically update your total distance and compound your times.
Helpful Tip: It's best to enter your distance daily to keep you motivated and watch your progress.
IS THERE A SPECIFIC APP WE NEED TO USE TO TRACK OUR TIME?
You can track your run with any app, watch, or fitness device that you would like. Or, if you have a fantastic memory, just remember your miles and enter them daily or weekly within the race dates!
CAN I COMPLETE MY VIRTUAL RACE BEFORE I HAVE RECEIVED MY GEAR?
If you select getting a free t-shirt during registration, it will be mailed out after end of the race period. So get your race on and record those miles, your t-shirt will be there soon!
IF I DECIDE NOT TO PARTICIPATE, CAN I REQUEST A REFUND?
As is normal with most races, refunds will not be given for this event. You will still get the satisfaction of knowing you donated to and helped high schoolers accomplish great things in the sport of dance!
